My Woman, My Woman, My Wife

Hands that are strong, but wrinkled
Doing work that never gets done.
Hair that's lost some of the Beauty,
By too many hours in the Sun.
Eyes, that show some disappointment
And there's been quite a lot in her life.
She's the foundation I lean on,
My Woman, My Woman, My Wife

Thank God for making Country Girls

I met my Country Girl (Miss Polly Tucker) at Dew's Cafe in Marion, Alabama November 18, 1941 and married her December 5, 1944....

Cause Country Girls are sweeter than a tube full of honey
And Country Girls are warmer than the Alabama sun
They know how to touch you, they know how to love you
I'm so glad that God made Country Girls

Lomie's 90th Birthday

Happy 90th Birthday dear Lomie!  We've had Sixty Six wonderful years together.

And if I had it to do all over again I would do it with you.
I wouldn't want to miss a thing that we've been through.
Lomie nothing can compare with the good love that we've shared.
And if I had it to do all over again I would do it with you
